You can camp in the area, spend the night under the open sky or sleep in a wind shelter.

This tour is characterized by lake paddling and you will spend almost all time in this calm and beautiful area. It can be done as a 7, 6 or 5 day tour. Lake Värmeln has given the province Värmland its name and is famous for its wilderness touch and beautiful islands on which you can find graves from the Vikings. Värmeln is a large lake so there are a lot of places for camping and resting. There are both prepared wind shelters and natural camping places.

If you think about planing a canoe tour that should be 4,5 or 6 days long, we have the following options for you:

Cut a 7 day tour short
B Rinnen and E Värmeln offer a shortcut.
Taking the shortcut, these tours are doable in 5 days instead of 7 days.
Generally the 7-day trips are doable in 6 days. The distances are around 100km for the 7-day tours and they consider 4-5 hours of canoeing time per day, plus the time for the land transports (different each day). You could canoe a bit more each day and make the distance in 6 days.
The price does not change when you do the tour in less than 7 days.
Adventure Island 8 days
Would you like to enjoy a different kind of holiday with your children?
On Adventure Island, a wonderful 14 acres wooded area you can live almost like Robinson Crusoe, isolated but not too far from the civilisation at the same time.
You can rent a plot on the island, which will be your own camping area and the base for your canoe excursions into surrounding waters. The lake where the island is situated is about 6 km long and you can make excursions to other lakes around.
On the island there is 3 plots. Maximun persons on the island 12.
